Hello, I will try and explain as best as I possibly can. Please ask me questions, if it will help me solf my problem. I am running xp pro with sp3 and nero 8. The problem I am having is that I am trying to convert an AVI and an MP4 file to high quality DVD but half way the pc freezes and sometimes even restarts. I have just done a full reinstall, thinking that I must have had a clitch. I thought this because I have been converting episodes of the muppets(also AVI files) without any problems. The part that stops me solving the problem is that on my other slower pc. That one also has XP pro (but no xp sp2 or sp3, ACDsee or DVD shrink)with Nero 8, and that works fine. How can i find out what Nero Vision is in conflict with?? I know I can just convert them on the other one, but this is my main PC. It should just work fine. Please someone help!!! Thanks, novision
Answer me this.. Did this issue occur before or after the SP3 was installed? If it started after SP3, then I would try uninstalling SP3 and see if this resolves your issue. If it started before then we will have to check another avenue. If there is a possibility of saving the log file and posting it here, that may help us to better determine what is going on.
