I am trying out the new Nero 10 on my Windows 7 64 bit laptop. Last night I tried to use Nero Vision Xtra to edit a video that was burned to a standard DVD but the aspect ratio is all wrong. Here are the specs of the video before editing: Resolution NTSC 352x480 Compression MPEG-2 Display 4:3 Frame Rate 29.97 fps Picture Interlaced Average Bitrate 2.94 Mbps All I did was cut out some parts of the DVD and reburned the DVD on a blank standard DVD. The new DVD had the following specs: Resolution NTSC 720x480 Compression MPEG-2 Display 4:3 Frame Rate 29.97 fps Picture Progressive Average Bitrate 5.91 Mbps But it is not 4:3-I have a screen shot of it but can't post links yet but you can copy and paste this: hxxp://i1014.photobucket.com/albums/af262/maverick4u/nerovision10project.jpg (change the xx of course) There are black bars squishing the picture in. Is this because I inadvertently changed the resolution somehow or does Nero 10 not support MPEG-2? Anybody else have this problem? Thanks for any help on this!
Seems no one is using Nero - try the VideoHelp site. Although a resolution of 352x480 seems to be taller than wide. http://forum.videohelp.com/
