Hello I used to have a Compro TV card and anything that I recorded on this could be burned onto DVD using Nero VisionExpress 3 (Nero Digital) after it converted the file into a format that it needed to burn the DVD. I have since replaced the Compro TV card with a Pinnacle USB TV card(PCTV Nanostick 73e) because the Compro TV card wasn't very reliable. When I call up Nero VisionExpress 3 in Nero Digital now and click 'add a video file' for burning to DVD I get a 'Unable to Insert/filename error. Pinnacle records the TV programmes as a .mpg file with an additional small .pmf file. Do I need some sort of converter to convert the recorded Pinnacle TV programmes into a format that Nero VisionExpress 3 can use? Many thanks Andrew
I'll answer my own question but ask another. I have realised that I have to use Nero Recode before any burning can start. I have just done this and the file has been saved in mp4 format which Nero hopefully can read. I then try and burn using Nero Visionexpress 3. The 'Current Progress' box is full however there is nothing showing in the 'Total Progress' box. I have left the computer for two hours and when I return the program is still running but thew 'Total Progress' box is still empty but showing 2 hours elapsed. Could someone please assist and tell me what I am doing wrong? Many thanks Andrew
