Hi all... I am trying to burn an audio cd with Nero Burning ROM 6, and this is what I get. Burn process started at 32X (4,800KB/s) SAMSUNG CD-R/RW SW-240B Invalid field in parameter SAMSUNG CD-R/RW SW-240B Could not perform start of Disc-at-once Burn process failed at 32X (4,800KB/s) I didn't change any Nero settings since the last time Nero successfully burned. Every now and then after extensive fiddling Nero will ask me to save the compilation as an Image, then it will go through the 'burning' process, but the CD will come up blank. Please Help!!! thank you in advance, James
at the top of the the main nero window check that your CD / DVD writer is selected and not Image Recorder. (Close any wizards that r open first) That will fix your problem with writing to images but I have no idea what is causing the other error JMZ
thanks for hitting me back. I did make sure that Nero was set to the CD burner drive instead of Image Recorder. AND, I actually successfully burned a CD yesterday after changing the Write Method field to Disc-At-Once/96 in the Burn Compilation screen. BUT! I tried to burn a CD again using exactly the same settings and it gives me exactly the same error message I typed up in my original post. Helpppppp...
hi there ! i use Nero 6.3 all the time, and just ocassionally it will give an error of some kind. i drop back the burn speed to 12x or 8x and it works everytime. i never get any coasters. regards jay4
