NERO will not detect new DVD R/RW/RAM burner

    Hi,

    I have Nero 5.5.8.3 installed and have just fitted a new DVD writer (an LG GSA4160 DL 16x DVD R/RW/RAM IDE Burner). The new drive has no difficulty playing media but when attempting to burn a DVD, I have found that Nero does not list the device as an available recorder making the task impossible.

    I am running Windows XP Pro and have another LG Drive (GCE 8480B CD R/RW IDE Burner) that works fine using Nero.

    Anyone have any ideas as I'm eager to start burning some discs !!
