Perhaps writing too close to the limit on these disks (4477 out of 4488). If possible, shrink the files down to a custom 4464 in the preferences section of DVD shrink - or try some 'Verbatim' brand disks instead.

thanks a lot for the reply ... the write was failing at 1% so thought that space would not be the actual issue ... am gonna try the dvd shrink ...
