nero wont burn dvd-r discs

    i need help i want to burn a rmvb file on nero so i goes on burn a data disc and then wen i put in a dvd-r disc it wont let me burn it how come can sum1 plz tell me asap

    You may have selected the wrong type of project. If you select a VCD or SVCD project, Nero would be expecting a CD, not a DVD. Also you would want a Video DVD, not a data DVD project I would think.
