Nero writing speed is automatically set to maximum

    Hi,

    I just wondering why I could not manually change the Nero writing speed anymore. Before I have an option to burn at slow speed but I noticed recently that that option is gone. I could not vary the burning speed anymore.It's always set to maximum. What's wrong with my Nero?

    hi, make sure to put the blank disc in drive before clicking on burn....

    In the past, Intel's Application Accelerator has been know to cause Nero to only allow Maximum write speeds. Only be uninstalling this program would you then be able to select other write speeds to work with.

    Thanks Craig you're right. It all started after I upgraded the version to 6.6.0.14. Now it's ok, I uninstall the program then reinstall the older version. Again thanks a lot.
