nero8, no sound in wave editor

    I have nero8 installed. I used the wav editor once, but now I have no sound. It looks like it's playing, and I can play audio in showtime and soundtrax. I've also installed vlc since 1st installing nero.

    It will play and edit mp3's, but not wavs. I open a wav save it as an mp3 then edit it. Crazy.
