Whenever i go on my comp, the net is connected so i can go on msn and that but when i click on internet explorer it only has a white page and nothing happens.....ne1 can please help p.s imma on other comp
reset web settings under programs and reset explorer defaults under advanced these are in your control panel under internet options
I done that nothing happens. right now im on ninemsn net. Everything thing works i go on msn and chat i can play games over the net. I just cant go on internet explorer.
hmm its a wierd problem... if it worked before you could always do a good old faithfull system restore
What is your OS? Is it XP? Sounds like your browser has been hijacked. There could be virus, spywares, trojans, adwares, ect. Do you have Cable or DSL Broadband? Since you can login and start your computer, but can't connect to the internet only, then this is what I'll do if I were you. > get a good blank CD-R ready > on your other computer that you can access to the internet, search and get/download the following software/programs: 1) AVG Free Edition (free) 2) Ad-Aware SE Personal (free) 3) Mozilla Firefox internet browser (try to get the latest) 4) SpyBot Search & Destroy 5) CCleaner 6) SpywareBlaster 7) Microsoft AntiSpyware 8) HiJackThis (be very careful of what you delete, however, you should know which are spywares or adwares related). Burn these programs zip files or setup files onto the blank CD-R. Now come to your dead computer. (A) uninstall your IE browser completely (B) install all of the above programs on your computer (C) set your computer to boot or start in SAFE MODE, if you're an XP user(s) do these: > click on START, RUN and type msconfig, then OK > click on BOOT.INI, under Boot Options, check on /SAFEBOOT, click OK or Apply > now it will restart your computer > once it start up, run all of those applications, except "Mozilla Firefox browser" > once you've run all of those software/applications, you'll have to change your computer back to normal via msconfig again > click on START, RUN and type msconfig, then OK > click on BOOT.INI, under Boot Options, UNChecked on /SAFEBOOT, click OK or Apply and restart your computer > once your system restarted, install Mozilla Firefox browser > now try to connect to the internet via Mozilla Firefox and see if that'll work Good luck!!
