    Does anyone else besides me get REALLY irritated by the fact that Netflix doesn't ship movies on Saturday.

    I've never noticed that either. I've gotten them on all days but Sunday, so I don't know why they would do that.

    yea it is annoying because with blockbuster you can drop a movie off at the post office by 5pm(the last pick up time in my area) and saturday they will ship you new movies and they will come by Monday. Turn around is fast in my area. But then with netflix you return a movie on friday they wont ship it saturday so you dont get a new movie shipped till monday and recieve it tuesday(its very fast here). You only lose a day but its still annoying.

    A little over 16 makes it here. It depends. We like to try to have one in the mail every other day, so we keep getting new ones. So I'd say around 4 movies a week.

    @Jasper44

    Just curious, but what is the charge per month for the 8 plan? I have the 3 plan and I "think" I pay 17.95. My son uses NetFlix and he pays a couple of dollars more. We coordinate with each other so we don't get the same movies. That dirtbag used to go into my BB account and change the queue until I changed my password.

    I am currently getting 3 movies at a time and it does suck that Netflix doesn't ship on Saturdays.

    This is really my only freetime to watch movies.

    @ tsquare43

    The 8 out at a time plan for Blockbuster is $40.40 after taxes here in California. Since I get about 45-50 rentals a month i'm paying less than a buck per rental.

    For Blockbuster people:
    To get your plan cheaper for a month do this....About 2 days before your about to get charged for a new month go to cancel account. Select cancel and it should offer you the same plan but cheaper. I did that and they gave me the 8 out at a time for $29.99 instead of the regular price of $39.99 for 1 month.

    The reason I say to only do it when your month is about to end is because if they don't give you a deal and just cancel you then you can just re-signup which takes a few seconds. If you did this in the middle of your month and they didnt offer you a deal then you would miss out on half a month, that you already payed for since when you pay them you are paying a month in advance--I think I explained that well enough.

    Anyways, try it and save yourself some money for 1 month. I'm about to try it again.

    I get three at a time and probably average about 16 movies a month. Mostly they get used and dropped in the box the next day. Have you guys gotten any broken in two yet? I've had no problems but the one disc split completely, notified them and received another copy 3 days later. Overall, I'm pretty happy with 'em.

    Pizza sauce? Is there an option on netflix for extra cheese? Movies and dinner delivered at the same time... maybe they are on to something!

    It annoyed me enough that I stopped using the service. I understand that 'unlimited rentals' is limited by the time it takes to ship and watch them, but after a few times where they received my return on Monday morning but didn't ship the next one until Tuesday (presumably because they were processing shipments that could have been handled on Saturday) I decided they weren't doing what they should to get me as many movies as possible. Now I have a plan from Hollywood Video that gets me 3 rentals out at a time for $15/month at the local stores. They don't have as good a selection as Netflix, and I can't get new releases for about 6 weeks, but I can instantly return them and pick up replacements.
