hey guys setup a network with a modem/routerone ubs port the other ethernet port. i setupwith xp network wizard and all was working i could play a lan game of counterstrike and also shared files in the shared folder. however the next day i tried to play a lan game and and was unable - in cs. i looked atsharing a file and was unable to as well - when i tried toopen the shareddocs folder i got a error "shareddocs is not accessiable. You may not have permission to use the network resource.contact the administrator of this server to find out if you have access permission. the network path was not found" as you can tell i am newto setting up network and itd probally/hopefully something easy............ so what am i doing wrong. Even through it work the night before, did it reset when i shutdown the pc's ?????? thanks for any advice/help
Try to login as the 'administrator' providing this is your computer and you have full administrator privileges. See if this makes a difference and post back if not.
