networking help!!

    ok i have this thing that hooks up to the netgear wireless router that has usb ports in the back and host's the 1TB HD and i need to no what programs i need to get on it from my laptop

    Your laptop should detect it already, assuming it has a network card installed.

    ok here is the infermation i for got to mintion it is a belkin Network USB Hub

    If you've installed its software correctly and have a wireless card in your laptop it will pick it up.

    Just to clarify, you are talking about using the internet through the router and not the HD?

    no ok i plug in my external HD and printers to the hub and then i plug the hubs ethernet in to the router and i get it host it so i am sapost to be able to get on it wired or wireless
