Ok i have a BTHub downstairs which is a modem aswell as a wireless router.
I have got a computer upstairs aswell. i went out a brought a Wireless USB Adaptor. It connects fine to the internet but its connecting to a differnt connection. Its connectiong to the Linkys or something. I have my BTHub in the list but for some reason it wont connect. How do i set it up so it can connect to my Hub downstairs and not to the linkys or something like that. this is alot faster aswell if i connect it to my Hub .

    Thanks

Lol, if I were you I'd take advantage of there download speed. First disconnect off the Linksys connection, then open the Wireless Connections page. You should see a list, Click on your one and Press Connect, if It is easy as that, I suggest to put a passphrase onyour Router because like you went onto the persons linksys, he can do the same to you. To set up a pass phrase, see your manual on the router. IF this doesn't work, you will need to configure youre wireless settings if you haven't already. Go to your local IP which is something like this (192.168.1.1) and logon (Default user and pass is both 'admin'). Then configure it from there. Good Luck

PS - Where do you live? Out of curiousity because I have a linksys and I don't want anyone going on my router lol
