As you can tell i am only new to this scene, and i just cant seem to connect my xbox to my pc. have read tutorials featured on this website but still cant connect. I am making sure the addresses are same in both systems but when i attempt to flashFXP the connection just times out. I enter the addresses on the xbox then reboot. Then i go into control panel,network settings,LAN connection, properties,ICP/TP protocol, properties and then enter the addresses. I am using the xbox 360 crossover cable on a normal xbox, could this be why? Probably sound stupid but i really need to be walked thru on this one please consider helping cheers
go to start-control panel-network and internet connections-create home network on your pc and follow the wizard then follow this guide...to turn ICS on http://www.xtreme-source.com/showthread.php?t=879 Internet Connection Sharing(ICS Tut) - XTREME-SOURCE hopefully that will fix the problem. on another note are your sure that cable your using is a cross-over cable?meaning is it a system-link cable?
