hi before n3 hit i was using a eurovox ex1000sl connected to my virmin supply,, and must say loved it rip,,now i want a box for hd channels mainly for the f1 season in hd starting march.i was going to buy a freeview hd box but that doesent go live until august 31st in my area, so too late for me thats about 2/3 throw the season so ive been looking at the sat option and quite like the humax freesat hd with 320g hdd but is pricey from what i see on ebay rangeing from around £220-280, so im wondering is there a better option for value or channels i still have virmin broadband and want something which is pretty easy to set up as im no wiz at flashing and stuff also i want a box thats capable of good hd quality and reliable. so is there anything else i should be looking at that gets extra channels and good hd pics. i havent got a dish yet but will get one if needed if sat is my only option,,sorry for droning on but i just want to cover my options .im in the minlands if that make a difference,,,,,,,,,,,,,thanks for looking
in terms of hd channels...virmin only have around 6 hd channels compared to shy's 40+ channels...i suggest that if you want to go down the route you had previously,opt for shy...pm me and il connect you with the right people.....though if your looking for something cheaper,that too can be sorted but you wont get hd channels...let me know
as i understand it you dont need anything special. itv hd cover the motorsport free of charge. just point the dish. scandalu, please stop trying to rip forum users off
yes thats right dont need anything apart from humax box and sat dish to get the free hd channels,,,,f1 is on bbc not itv but but bbc1 is on freesat anyway,,,i was just wondering if there was a different options for hd channels ie openbox and so on,,,,,and i take it scandalu is not to be trusted?
firstly you cannot get premium hd channels that your are not subscribed to. however with bbc and itv releasing hd channels recently there is certainly more choice for the freeview punter. however there is virtually no box of any repute that seems to be available for under the 200 mark. so its certainly an expensive purchase for only a few freeview channels that are worth watching

i know were all in the classroom but the internal bickering between the teachers is very disturbing and a distraction to the other pupils like me whos trying to learn somthing it dosnt matter whos head boy or master as long as we all learn somthing i dont want to have to move to another school i like this one ,,remember EVERY DAY IS A SCHOOL DAY lol thanks for all your input
