    Hi there.

I have been using the trial version of Roxio Easy Media Creator 9 to burn my movies.. But now it has expired.. And it sucks, because I really loved that program.

I tried downloading a new program yesterday, which resulted in a movie that lagged in the dvd player and me losing a media disc.
I also tried Nero which is to complicated for me..
I have backed up the files to my hard drive..

But if anyone know a burn program that is good and give excellent results in the dvd player.. Plz answer..

P.s Im sorry for using this forum. I dont know where this topic belong.

on the lagging try using better blank media like Taiyo Yuden or Verbatim and keep you're burn speed at 8x max.

as far as good burning programs my choices are nero,IMG Burn, dvd decrypter

heres a good link with software and guides

Thx for the advice m8. But I found the solution myself, and it were as simple that it actually is a little embarrasing. haha

I simply used CloneDVD to burn the movie to a dvd media..
It works perfectly and its burning right now.

I didnt think it would work cause it wouldnt decrypt my movie.. But I guess that was because of copy protection.

But thx a lot for the advice. :)

If your running clonedvd as your burning software You also need to run anydvd in the background..To bypass the protection on the disc..Clonedvd also shrinks the size of the media down so it will fit to a dvd5..

I didnt burn directly from the disc. Dvd Decrypter has backed up the files to my hard drive. So I just made CloneDVD burn the backed up files to my blank disc.. I watched the result on my dvd yesterday.

    Works perfectly. :)

DVD Decrypter works on lots of movies even though it has not been updated in a couple of years. There are many that it cannot handle so you may want to add DVDFab HD Decrypter to your DVD arsenal.

I'd agree about getting AnyDVD to go with Clone, they were made for each other, but DVDFab is an excellent and free solution.

CloneDVD would only be needed if you needed to transcode (shrink) the source files. DVD Shrink is freeware and will do the same. It supports Nero, Copy2DVD, and DVD Decrypter. With one of those programs loaded, you can select the burner and forget about it. It doesn't matter how complicated you may think they are, you don't open them manually. After ripping, put a DVD in for the burner to be recognized. Open the files in Shrink, click backup, select burn options, and burn. Unless you're multitasking, not a good idea with single core processors and little memory, you can take a break and wait for the finished copy.
