new capture unit: then vcr to dvd

    i have a Hauppauge winTV PVR USB2 was looking to upgrade to a better unit. I was looking into the Pinnacle studio moviebox ultimate but it seems to get awful reviews the more i read or people arent satisfied with it. Does anybody have any suggestion on converting my vcr tapes to DVD?

    Im converting my brothers family tapes to dvd, the tapes he has are cassettes that fit into a the normal size vcr cast that into the vcr unit?
