i got a new computer for Christmas that was supposed to be much better than my old one, only problem in some ways its not as good.I want to remedy this situation because my family went to a lot of effort, and expense to help me out. My current computer is an intel pentium 4, 1.6o GHz, with 768 MB of ram, graphics card nvidia Geforce3 ti 200, 24*10*40 cd-rw, the primary drve is 20 GB with a second 80 GB drive. new computer is an Intel P4 2.00 GHz, with 504 Mb of ram, it has an integrated graphics card 82845G/GL/GE/PE/GV , 16*20*40 cd-rw, with only a 20gb hard drive both have XP OS It sounds like the mother board is better on the new one, but i cant get by with just a 20 GB drive, i would like to know which computer has the better graphics card, i know its fairly easy to change graphics cards, and add more ram if the hardware is compatible, but i dont know how i would go trying to add a second hard drive, the main reason i need a better computer is for gaming, can someone give me advise on what i can do i have not added any hardware to a computer before but i have a fair bit of aptitude, can someone give me some advise which is the better graphics card thanks.
that new computer is not "new" not with a 20gig hd & a 16*20*40 cd-rw drive. the board itself is not that old so post the make & model# of the computer or motherboard to see what you have? you actually have 512meg of ram on new pc but 8meg is assigned to onboard video to give you 504meg.
