New cooling fan needed.

    Just like is says. i have a q6600 core 2 quad. i need one that will keep it cool. i overclock it to 3.2 and with the one i have right now it get to 43-50. i know it has to do with the cooler. i use tigerdirect.com. i need options.

    You could try something basic like an Arctic Cooling Freezer 7 Pro. Or if you're going for super low temps, I would suggest a Tuniq Tower 120 or a Thermalright Ultra 120/Thermalright Ultra Extreme. Make sure to get proper thermal paste as well. You should try Arctic Silver 5 or Arctic Silver Ceramique(my personal choice as it's non conductive). Check the Arctic Silver site for application instructions.

    50ÂșC isn't too bad for an overclocked quad core. The Q6600s come with a better cooler than the newer processors. If you want to push further though, I'd recommend at least a Freezer 7 Pro, if not an Ultra 120.
