I was wondering what you guys thought of this deal. It seems like a pretty good deal to me. Im trying to get into video editing as a hobby. I play semi pro football and all kinds of other sports and would like to start breaking up film for highlights and what not. This would be on an amateur level but i would like to progressively get better at it. If you dont go to the link it is a dell xps 435mt for 999.
That rig should do video editing all right so long as your video is already in digital format; according to the specs it does not have enough slots to add a good analogue capture card (or most anything else). The video card is also very sad; but it should be more than enough for video editing.
