New Disc Drive

    Hi all,
    Had a look on ebay for a replacement disc drive. Theres a lot being imported from Hong Kong. Has anyone bought one? Will it work on my english xbox?

    Also, I've got a Thompson drive at the moment, can i plug and play a samsung one, without any problems?

    Yeah, u can swap the Thompson with the Samsung without problems.

    ok i know this sounds noobish but, i have two messed up xboxes with software problems. if i got an xbox off of ebay with a bad disc drive could i put my disc drive in there even if they werent the same version, or would my disc drive have to be the same version as the xbox i buy off of ebay. thanks for the help.
