i know this is the Shrink forum. But, since you all burn with Shrink, i just figured who better to ask than you all. i am thining of buying a DVD burner, and was just curious what you all recommend? i am not that interested in printing to the disc, so i am just looking for a good, quality burner. give me your input, please. by the way, the one i have now, nothing is wrong with it, i just want to put a new one in, and keep this one as a back up. the one i have now it was a cheap Fry's special that i bought 3 years ago. have never had a problem with it. dont even know the brand.
I'll scoot this over to our DVD Burner forum where it belongs As for burners my highest recommendation goes to the BenQ DW-1655. Mine, when used with good media such as Verbatim DataLifePlus or Taiyo Yuden, has given me the best quality burns I've ever had. The icing on the cake is that they go for well under $40.
