new dvd can't find extension ome (Solved)

    I have a new dvd recorder and a tv/vid combi, when I try to tape fron vhs to dvd the thing that is recorded is the tv channel, my dvd can find extension 2 but not extension 1, why?

    jerzynek welcome to afterdawn, it would be a good thing to post your problem in the right forum! this is a forum for users who want to make a backup of a dvd that they have bought to a blank dvd. good luck

    better late than never, lol, at first I just changed the extensions, from ext 1 to 2 or vice versa, but the day after it did not work, and the helpline said it was not possible, it did work once, wierd, twilight zone, lol

    in other words it's not possible, the 'impossible' happened once

    I had another video recorder, so attached the video to the dvd, then to the tv to record to dvd
