New Hard drive help!!!!

    I bought a 160 gig HDD for my xbox it is lockable but the problem is i dont know how to format it so the xbox will read it i think the problem might be i need to make a boot cd but i dontknow how plus my original HDD is softmodded could that be the problem i really need help???
