Can anyone HELP!!!! I just installed a new hard drive into my box, because the old one crashed..How can I now format it? I dont get the dashboard, It just goes right to service your xbox.
Well I hope your Xbox is modded in some way. If it is not it needs to be in order to get your upgraded HD working in your Xbox. Every HD is locked to the motherboard w/ a certain lock code. If you change HD's in an unmodded console you will get errors when turning your Xbox on because the Xbox cannot find the lock code on the HD.
