new hd

    i kind of need help..u see i got a new HD from an apple pc but i have compaq windows xp pro...i wanna install the new hd for more memory what do i have 2 do..is see these wires that go 2 my computer hd dvd and cd burner??

    Set the second drive to "slave", and connect to the second IDE port on the ribbon cable.

    Windows will not recognize the drive if it still has a Mac OS partition.
