Hi. I've got this iPod video 30Gb. I'v been syncing it with this itunes i have in my bro's computer. But then, his computer got a bit problematic so he formatted the whole thing, therfore erasing my itune and the library as well. Now, I've installed a new itunes. The moment I plugged in my ipod, the itunes asked if i'd like to replace th library i have in my ipod with the library in th itunes (which is empty). I said no. I've got all these new stuff in the new library. My question is, am i able to add new things into my existing library in my ipod? since my old library in my itunes has been completely wiped out. if not, what am i to do? start everything from scrath?? please help!!
That has happened to me once but sorry to say this you may have to update you iPod with the music you have on the iTunes library if you want new music on them.
