New Liteon SOHW-1693sx won't burn dvd-r's!!

    I just bought this External Liteon dual format burner model SOHW-1693SX the problem is i'm using Verbatim dvd-r's and they wont burn right or they just stay turning in the burner, but if i put a memorex dvd+r it'll burn perfect can anyone help me please.

    It would sure be nice if people would reply back letting us know if we were helpful or to say thanks or go to hell or something.
