http://www.petitiononline.com/fairuse/petition.html I have just set this up online, and the more or us who sign this the better. If this goes through, the US will follow, and before long we will all lose all our gear. This is for real. The actual copyright holders will have the right to seize your equipment, to quote the US letter to the EU ". We are very pleased to see that amendments to new Article 14 now recognize the importance of providing judicial authorities with authority to destroy goods and equipment. When the equipment and materials used to produce infringing goods are left in the hands of the infringers, they simply continue their illegal conduct. By permitting the confiscation and destruction of the illegal goods, and the equipment and materials (or implements) used to make them, the court puts an end to the infringer's illegal activities." THIS MEANS ALL OF US. All it will take will be an anonymous call that so& so has pirated software or music on their PC, then it's bye bye PC. Please, this is serious.
Thank you very much guys. It is appreciated. I'll keep you posted as to what is occuring. We have a copyright lawyer coming to visit us soon, with a view to beginning a fightback against this.

Petition is signed. Ill be telling others to sign as well, we have to keep this right. All too often, laws are not passed by the people, but by the corporations that "contribute to" (in my eyes, its the same as buying) political parties.
Yeah, i thought the number was kind of low too. People dont care about their rights until they are taken away from them, and it is too late. Everybody, tell anybody you can to sign this right away!!!!!!
I'm #51 this is pathetic only 51 people on this site can take 2 minutes to protect the rights that they come to this site to get information on. Lets go people you should be ashamed to use this site and not be willing to sign a petition that is seeking to allow you to use this site.
