New PIONEER DVR-107D wont burn -R media

hi.....i just bought a PIONEER DVD-RW DVR-107D V1.13......it burns +R OK but -R it spits the
disc out after writing about 2MB on the disc.....ive tried 2 brands with the same results..

any hints?

You could try updating the firmware which may improve disk compatability, Versions 1.15 and 1.18 are available to download at:
