new program problems

hi all just recently brought a 'kworld dvd maker usb 2.0"
the purpose of this is to transfer vhs movies to dvd.hooked it up ok but picture on screen and when burnt to disc is pathetic like its streched the pixels out.any one know anything about this program and how to fix it?

 

just to add the software it uses is pvr plus and ulead dvd movie factory 4 se
