new starview problem

have bought a 2nd starview box but cannot access the secret menu through 1570
is a genuine box not a clone.
any ideas?

 

you may have to flash it with a new firmware , as sometimes the receivers come with v2.58ee, & you cannot turn the emu on with this firmware

so use v4.00ee to update your receiver

 

make sure u use the right firmware for your receiver
starview is v4.00e and 'the box' is v450(ireland) or 451(uk)

are your codes the same or have they changed
dont know freq for tele.
if ur codes are the same , i suggest a do a factory reset
follow instructions on my post at the link i just gave you !

 

make sure you have the cable in your box correctly and that tele**** are not have problems in your area.

 

Try 1688 or 1668.

 

if it is only a new box it will v2.58 installed on it you need to flash with v4 as the v2.58 is only for freeview as that is all the suppliers are allowed put on check in menu>specifications >version API we need ok

If you cant get into the secret menu it is because u have the wrong firmware on your receiver.
If u have 'the box ' u will need different firmware on it !
get it on the eko.4 link under my post.
( uk is V451 and ireland V450)
original starview put v4.00e onto it
