dodgy memory or motherboard by the sounds of it. What memory do you use? (brand)

Check everything is fitted and wired properly and then if it does not work i would check the cpu and memory are not faulty. If there both fine then it could be a motherboard or Bios problem. If the cpu and memory are ok by checking them on another mobo if possible. You might want to try removing the cmos battery for 10 seconds to set the bios to default. If this does not work take take it back and get a replacement.
