    Hi,

I have been backing up DVD movies for a while now, but never turned avi to DVD before. so i have a couple of Questions...
Is this guide http://www.afterdawn.com/guides/archive/convert_avi_to_dvd.cfm still up to date, or is there now a newer and better way to do it.

also: how do i make a menu on the DVD? when i convert all avis to DVD i want to have more than 1 on a DVD so a menu is good.

    thanks

That guide looks fine but I can't say for sure. Here is a very good program, easy to use, great quality and gives you menues:http://www.afterdawn.com/guides/archive/vso_convertxtodvd_guide.cfm You won't need any other programs and it's faster than TMPGEnc. The trial runs near half speed and will insert a watermark in your video. Also, putting 2 videos on 1 DVD will seriously lessen the quality unless you use Dual Layer.
