I have a couple of dvd-r 8x 4.7gig maxtell dvd's i wanna use so im wondering what do i need to do... I also have some files are in .avi format. I have tried nero 7 but when i burn the dvd it never plays back on my computer. Is there a guide or somenthing that'll put this in terms a 7 year old could understand? haha...

ok if these are VOB,IFO,BUP files then u can burn them with nero express or nero burning rom.

for these u have to make them dvd-complaint which are(VOB,IFO,BUP files)
if u want to watch them on a standalone dvd player.
to do this u can use Nero Vision
Here is a basic guide for nerp vision

    ok i have a question.

i downloaded my movie in .avi format and used format2iso to convert the .avi files to vob, .ifo and.bup files. Oddly enough, I ony got 1 .vob file. Shouldnt I have more than 1 .vob file. ? Coz when i use dvd decrypter to burn the movie to a dvd, my player only plays the 1st 20mins of it.
