Hi guys, ive been reading through all the tips and help forums and have taken in so much info i feel more confused now. I have ICopydvd2 and I think its called "48" to remove the CCS. Heres my deal, i have a copywrited dvd from a blockbuster that i have just purchased and now own because it took longer the 30 days to return it, so they chared my account. The disk is already scrached and wanted to copy it for a back up. It burns and does the whole process of buring with no errors but wont play in any dvd player or my computer. Is there any basic progams i can download and somthing im doing wrong. Please help

to add to me good buddy ihoe's guides link

i use anydvd running (in the background) and use DVD Shrink (free easy app) to rip main movie only, alot here use CloneDVD2 / Anydvd combo...

but 2 apps above you need to buy...

there are free routes to take i think the css remover used is dvd fab decryter (not sure dont use it) but alot here swear by it!

IHOE gave you a link to the guides which will walk you through, step by step, the ripping/encoding/burning process. It lists the programs needed as well.

I agree with rotary, anydvd with dvdshrink and clonedvd 2 is the way to go. Thats what I use and I haven't ran into any problems yet.

The only bad thing about this route though, as rotary has already said is that anydvd and clonedvd 2 both cos money. But if you willing to pay, they are very very nice programs.
