new to starview box

Hi there
new to this, does the box automatically rescan its self if the cable system is spiked or whatever they do ????. Im on ntl or virgin as it is now known
any help ????

 

Yes if you have the right firmware on it. The box will automatically update the keys.

 

thanks for that, another question, what in your opinion is the best make & model to buy, there are so many on the market, is The box the best one for being the cheapest ?

 

I would have a preference for a Eurovox although linux based boxes such as Dbox2, Dreambox etc are better. But if you just want it to watch TV and have no other preferences "The Box" is fine.
