IFO to VIDEO_TS Folder & burn ! (Burn without Multi-session) [bold]DVD-9[/bold] SMARTRIPPER This time under the FILE button just take the .VOB's that are selected [little monitor icons] and then tick the box that is 2 above the selected boxes & START. DVD2One v1.11 Movie-Only , select folder where you put Smartripper files and choose a 2nd destination folder where you want finished DVD2One files put. Set size to 4272 Select AC3 6CH (audio),ENGLISH Subs (or other),Angle 1...and start !!! NERO As Usual
Smartripper is a free d/l (need this to rip/unencrypt to HDD) DVD2One is an excellent piece of software and worth purchasing in my opinion (http://www.dvd2one.com) OR there's DVD Shrink (free d/l). They both compress a DVD-9 DVD from more than 4.37Gb to 4.36Gb so as to fit on a DVD-R/DVD+R. Nero [or other burning prog]
dam man i thought we would be able to do just like a rip and copy thing. So I am going to try the SmartRipper/Nero method and try to actually finnish this Spiderman back-up. ps. 2 coasters on my belt so far..
ok i just tried to rip the spiderman disk using smartripper (file - select all) and its like 7.3 gb. I now have to do the compression right with dvd2one and then burn with nero? thanks
If the film is that big , you wanna just take the movie only in Smartripper boss... Then you'll find that you've got 5Gb or so to run through DVD2One But your getting there m8
thanks.. I am getting there. I just got the DVD2One. Going to try it out and then report back. I am going the route this time because i just want to get a feel for the ripping and burning. I will try the Full dvd back-up in the near future. Rob
