Im a new to xbox modding and i would like some things to be answered or redirected to. I understand softmod, but what are the exact features? Also whats the thing i see evox dashboard or something? Does softmod enable you to backup games to the harddrive?

This is a hardmod where the bios on your xbox's motherboard is changed to different firmware. This functions exactly as a modchip and the best solution to go with. I will install a larger hard drive if provided at no additional charge with this method."
I saw this advertisement on craigslist. Is it better to softmod or that firmware thing? Is it reconmended to get a hard drive upgrade also? Whats the cheapest? haha. Thanks in advance for all those who reply.

depending on what you want to do, there are better prices than that, i personally charge 20 for the same thing but if your going to go with that you would need to upgrade the hard drive if you plan to copy games to it, with a softmod you can do all the same things as the tsop flash would allow except you cant do custom boot screens and stuff like that, and you also have a much harder time with adding a new hard drive, its still possible but it takes longer this way
