Hello, I'm looking to going from a 42 inch LCD to a LED 50 inch. The new TV supports 400 x 400 but I'm not sure if the bracket I currently have does. It was installed in 2007 so I'm not sure. if your tv fits the wall mount ie has the same mounting pattern as your old tv then the next thing to do is run the model number of the mount to see if it has any weight specs.your old 42 inch is likely at least as heavy as your new 50 inch.can you post the weights of each?
