the best think to do is dump x copy and get a better program since its been off the market for two plus years and is outdated and wont do the newer movies.

freeware dvd shrink and dvd decrypter ,good programs

better programs; CloneDVD 2 with anydvd running in the background or Intervideo DVD Copy3 MUCH better than x copy.heres the link to CloneDVD 2 and anydvd (which i recomend)

and a guide to use them

remember to use good blank media as in Taiyo Yuden or Verbatim and burn at 4X max. you will have perfect backups everytime

Definitely dump xcopy. You can get DVDDecrypter and DVDShrink for free and they will handle the newer copy protections that xcopy can't. A simple search of the forum will lead you to downloads and guides for both programs. Xcopy was awesome in its time, but is very outdated now. It only took one sony movie to make me see the light! You can get better quality with freeware!
