newb... help: no audio when i converted my avi with TMPGEnc???

    i am a newb...

    please move this thread if this is in the wrong place...

    anyway, when i converted my .avi files into mpeg-2, there is NO audio!?!?!?

    there IS audio in the .avi files but not after i convert them into mpeg-2...

    why is this???

    how can i make the audio work???

    can i have some basic / simple steps to help me???
