Hi, I am very very new to this. Could someone please point me in the direction of, or explain to me in a very easy to understand guide. I would like to convert a 700mb Avi movie downloaded from the internet, into a dvd or vcd for playback on a normal dvd player. I have tried to research and believe that I need a TMPGEnc 12a software to start with. I would like the whole movie to be on one disc if this is actually possible. Many thanks,
hello,,,yes u need tmpgenc,,and u need also virtual dub to strip out the audio...but u will get it on 2 cd-r:s ,,and it is not that easy to do it,,,in short: open your avi file in virtualdub, click on audio, fullproccesing mode, no compression, save as vawe,,,then open tmpgenc,,use the wizard to create a vcd,go on, but remeber to split the movie with: sourcerange in tmpgenc....good luck,,but like i said it is not easy the first time u do it....
