Dear All Firstly I have searched the forum to find assistance but no luck so far. I have DVD Shrink 3.2 and Nero StartSmart Essentials. I have shrunk? a few DVDs and saved then on my computer but have not burnt them due to a lack of time. When you use Shrink it prompts me to insert a disc and burn which most times I have done. However, how do I burn those already filed without using backup again which to me seems a waste of time as they are already on the drive! Is there something I am missing? I also cannot see where in Nero SSE I can import the VOB files nor how to go through the steps to burn them. Thanks so much. Andrew
Hi Andrew, If you want to make a backup (ready shrunk) and then burn at another time later on - then I would suggest changing the backup file type to an image (ISO) rather than a folder full of VOBs. To do this - when you hit the backup button simply change the 'select backup target' to 'ISO image file' rather than 'hard disk folder' which it sounds like you have selected. You should then be able to simply select the image file in nero to burn using the 'burn image' utility in smart start. Also - perhaps think about using the free prog 'IMGburn' for making DVDs as it's free and I find much more reliable than Nero. Hope this helps!g
Sorry, but this sentence makes no sense at all. What do you mean? Thread teleported as it's Nero doing the burning, NOT DVD Shrink..
DVDShrink burns the disk using Nero. Gemsie has given you the best advice, save your file as an >ISO file, then burn it later at your leisure. Nero is okay to burn with, but IMGBurn is far better and runs easier. www.imgburn.com
