Hey, I just started burning movies and have been using super dvd creator 8.5 for all of them but, now I'm trying to burn a kvdc movie for the first time. I downloaded VCDGear and tryed to convert it to burn, and I keep getting the message... "Binary image file specified inside CUE file could not be opened." What does this mean, is the file bad and I just can't use it?? or am I just being stupid?? any advice appreactiated. thanks, scott.
This means that the .BIN file that is specified inside the .CUE file is not correct or does not exist. Try opening the .CUE file in a text editor (eg. Notepad). The first line should say something like: FILE "filename.bin" BINARY Make sure that the file name within the quotes is the same as the .BIN file that you have. if it is not the same, change it to the correct file name. Also check to make sure that any extra path data is not added in the quotes (eg. "C:\Dir\filename.bin"). Also, make sure that the .BIN file is in the same directory/folder as the .CUE file. This should clear it all up without the need to extract the data from the .BIN file. -PutterPlace
Alright, I opened it in wordpad and it said this.... FILE "House of 1000 Corpses 2003 DVDRiP kvcd by BummedOut(TUS Release).bin" BINARY TRACK 01 MODE2/2352 INDEX 01 00:00:00 TRACK 02 MODE2/2352 INDEX 00 00:04:00 INDEX 01 00:06:00 That is the exact same name as the Bin filename which is... "House of 1000 Corpses 2003 DVDRiP kvcd by BummedOut(TUS Release)"so now I'm really confused why this doesn't work. Is that other stuff in the cue file needed there??
try mounting the image in daemon tools and tell me what you see select all files and load the bin not the cue
