newbie needs help with ftp (pc confic)

okay (heads up) verry verry new at this . the xbox is already softmodded (bought that way) i am trying to ftp to my pc with a cross over cable so i can back up my game from the hdd of my xbox to a dvd disc i have looked everywhere and nothing is working please help?!!

ok xbox has all the info into it but i am having trouble with the computer part of it i have a wireless card for my internet ans im plugging the crossover cable beside it into the proper port but dont know how to get into the config's?? im afraid to screw up my internet. please help?? (a little oblivious to internal aspects of pc) thanks
