    Hi,

I am totally new to this as I bought a Sony Digital8 last week and have managed to take some movies on it and downloaded it to my computer as MPEGS and I am having trouble trying to burn them onto CD's.

I am using the software that came with the camera : Sony Imagemixer ver 1.5 which did not work it wrote a disc but all it contains is four folders called Cdi,Mpegwav,Segment and Vcd, they contain files but no Mpegs what am I doing wrong??

I downloaded Ulead DVD Factory and tried to burn a vcd on that but it did the same thing as Imagemixer, no MPEGS....

Please help me out here as I can't seem to work out where I am going wrong.

    look in the mpegav folder.
    see the *.dat files?
    those are mpgs.
you can use vcdgear(free) to convert them back to regular mpgs.
