Hello all, First let me say I spent all my time ripping DVDs and burning them. I want to rip a music CD that I bought from Amazon.com onto my hard drive. But I don't know what software will allow me to do that. I want to have it in all the popular MP3, WMA, etc.. format with a minimum rate of 192. I have nero and various other software for ripping DVDs (dvddecrypter, vobblanker, etc..). However this is the very first time I have ever tried an audio one. Can someone please link me up with a thread that has the step by step directions for doing so? Many thanks to everyone in advance.
Do you have Windows Media Player on your computer? If so, just put the CD into your drive. There is a Rip tab displayed when you open the WMP. Just select the tracks you want to rip and let it process. Probably should say that you should look at the top tool bar FIRST. Select Tools, then Options, then Rip Music. You can select file format for output, where it goes on your HD, Quality settings, and such. Then burn to a back up CD or leave on your HD as an .MP3 or whatever.
