Hi everyone, just got my box today and I need help setting it up. first how to find out if it is original or clone? bought it from Amazon and it was advertised as original. Do i need to flash it with any firmware? if yes where can i find these firmwares? The information I have from system read as: Main Chip: Ali 3601 HD OEM ID: 0001 Peripheral unit: RS232, CA slot, Ethernet Display Mode: FULL HD memory size: DDR2, 128M Software ver: 3601HD_27_07_2012_0841. Is my box a clone??? Help please, any tutorial or links to tutorials will be very much appreciated. thanks.
go here download the firmmware http://www.yojiatech.com/a/Support/Download/Skybox_F3/ put the image on a usb drive then in your box. On remote go to menu update by usb it will find image 3601 hd press start, let it flash and reboot. thats all your channels etc loaded. They are all original, whatever way you want to put it, there is nothing to clone this box from, its openbox.
